Introduction The evolution of breast cancer treatments over the last decade has resulted in tailored therapies for different types and stages cancer. Each treatment a profile benefits adverse effects which are taken into consideration when planning pathway. objective this study is to examine whether patients’ preferences line with what considered important from policy-makers viewpoint. Methods An online discrete choice experiment (DCE) was conducted six European countries (France, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Spain, UK) (BC) patients. DCE comprised attributes: overall survival (OS), hyperglycaemia, rash, pain, functional well-being (FWB) out-of-pocket payment (OOP). Sixteen sets two hypothetical “no treatment” option were presented. Sociodemographic disease related data collected. Heteroscedastic conditional mixed logistic models accounted scale preference heterogeneity between patients respectively. Latent class analysis categorized classes. Marginal rates substitution (MRS) estimated OOP versus rest attributes establish ranking each attribute. Results Two hundred forty-seven advanced or metastatic BC 314 early-stage responded. Forty-nine percent less than 44 years old 65 had completed university education. MRS demonstrated that “severe pain” highest dis-preferred attribute level, followed by impairment FWB” OS. Four classes as “decision-makers” identified. Additionally, there sensitivity both levels pain FWB depending on stage disease. Conclusions This suggests their sociodemographic characteristics. In combination clinical guidelines, patient can support selection tailoring options.
